Hand Picked!

This Summer we were blessed with AMAZING teachers as usual!!!!  KMC has had a certain teacher for two years in a row now and I know she is very sad to have to say goodbye to her especially!

I hope if these wonderful teachers see this post, they know that the Coopers really do love them like family and appreciate every.single.thing. they have done for our girl!

She is a far better human being thanks to y'all!  You are Jesus with skin on to her (and me honestly).  You show her love and kindness, discipline and encourage her to be the best little person she can be.  You teach her about our Father and about His grace. You teach her to be independent but are there to pick her up if she falls.  You ladies embody the kind of woman I hope my daughter becomes.

We have been truly blessed to have you as KMC's teachers! So, saying all of that, I found this pin and knew that's what I wanted to do for their end of the year gifts.

So I found these super cute baskets at Hobby Lobby and they were 50% off!  Yay!  While I was there I picked up some green decorative gift filler too.  Then I went to Bath & Body Works to find out that Strawberry is a seasonal flavor and they were out.  So I opted for nectarine.  Then I just made the cute little tags, glued them to plastic forks and put them in the basket.

The teachers seemed to like them and the saying is VERY true!  "I couldn't have picked a better teacher!" and that goes for all three of you ladies!!!!!

Too Kool for School

I meant to make these for the kids at the beginning of Summer but I didn't get around to it.  Life has been pretty hectic lately.  I will post more about that later.  So instead, I quickly made these tags today to put with this great idea I got from here.  This too was a rushed, last minute thing but I really wanted to do one more thing for the kiddos KMC has been in daycare with for the last three years.  Starting Monday, they move to a new class and will be split up.  I know it's not the best but it worked in a pinch!

Basically all I did was buy some krazy straws and kool-aid, put them in snack bags and stapled a simple message to them and viola, a quick, fun gift that all the kids seemed to enjoy!
